ADHD

The school year is upon us and many parents have children that have been diagnosed ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Recent research, previously mentioned, cited studies proving that Omega 3 fatty acid supplementation (fish oil) was more effective than the narcotic drug, Ritalin. In addition, many cases of ADHD are related to food allergies. The most common culprits were sugar, preservatives and artificial food coloring and flavoring. Most parents have found that when these food addititives were removed the child's behavior and learning ability improved. Neurologically, children with disruption in nerve flow (spinal nerve stress) may show a decrease in function throughout the body which may impair learning and effect behavior.

Thought for the Week: "Someone must teach new things, someone must take the abuse, someone must be ostracized, someone must be called a quack. Then out of it all comes a new truth to become part of us. Thus we receive new facts to make up our proud possession of knowledge." ------Fred Hart, Founder, National Health Federation

Chiropractic Tip of the Week: While other professions are concerned with changing the environment to suit the weakened body, chiropractic is concerned with strengthening the body to "suit" the environment.

Chiropractic care improves bodily function, enhances performance and improves quality of life!

Really interesting blog about pharmaceutical grade omega 3. In a similar vain to pharmaceutical grade omega 3, I've found the richest, purest omega-3 EFP fish oil supplement on the market. My health has improved dramatically - both physical and mental. I've been taking MorEPA now for about 6 months and I cannot emphasize how much this supplement have helped me to cope with anxiety and depression. The supplements can be ordered from **wwwomega3.com**. I'd also recommend daily exercise.
