Popeye Was Correct

In light of all the bad news about spinach, here is the good news. Spinach is one of the most nutritious vegetables ever grown. It has the ability to protect against cancer, it is a very potent anti-oxidant, it is great for healthy nerves. Spinach is high in calcium and magnesium. The folic acid in spinach can help to prevent birth defects. Other important factors are spinach's high fiber content, vitamin C, Iron, K, B and amino acids. No wonder Popeye did so well with eating spinach. It is always best to buy loose spinach, so that you can inspect the leaves. The leaves should be a dark green color and have a rubbery texture. Fresh, New Jersey grown spinach is said to be safe from the e-coli strain effecting California spinach. Spinach makes a great vegetable to be grown in your own garden or even in a flower box inside your house.

Thought of the Week: "If I could live my life over again, I would devote it to proving that germs seek diseased tissue, rather than being the cause of diseased tissue; e.g. Mosquitoes seek stagnant water, but do not cause the pool of water to become stagnant."----Rudolf Virchow

Chiropractic Tip of the Week: "Symptoms can serve as a message that something needs to be changed in one's life. If we only treat the illness, it can linger or recur until the message is heeded."----Dennis Jaffe, Ph.D

Chiropractic care does not treat symptoms, chiropractic addresses the cause of symptoms.

Really interesting blog about omega 3 essential fatty acid. In a similar vain to omega 3 essential fatty acid, I've found the richest, purest omega-3 EFP fish oil supplement on the market. My health has improved dramatically - both physical and mental. I've been taking MorEPA now for about 6 months and I cannot emphasize how much this supplement have helped me to cope with anxiety and depression. The supplements can be ordered from **wwwomega3.com**. I'd also recommend daily exercise.
