Post concussion has traditionally been a frustrating time for any athlete. Basically a recommendation of rest and no brain stimulation (video games, reading, TV, etc. . . ) until the athlete is cleared. And even then, step two is light aerobic exercise such as walking or stationary cycling, no resistance training or weight lifting.(1) For any competitive athlete, sitting around is paramount to torture.
